NOTE:
In future, Spirit Calling Online will be published quarterly instead of monthly.
We plan that the next issue will be published in July 2011.
Why? Well, I have continued to have on-going health issues with another heart attack (a small one) and a third sojourn in hospital which ended in two weeks with the insertion of an ICD (implanted cardiac device).
After not having been on any medication at all I am now taking loads and this is affecting my energy levels. The specialist and I are working on adjusting the medication so that I do have more energy, but until I lost it, I had not really appreciated just how valuable my energy had been. Everything is a huge effort.
I wish to thank all those friends and others who have put me on their healing lists and sent me healing – I am sure that matters would have been much worse without it all.

Message re Missing Issues
The software I had been using for the Spirit Calling Online emagazine had been proving to be most unstable, so eventually I hired someone else to move it to a different server and format it on a different software.
Unfortunately the stress of it all precipitated a massive heart attack in me with ensuing major complications. Accordingly I have been unable to collect, collate and edit any material for the August or September issues of the emagazine.
Chris was willing to step in, but as she has just obtained her first computer, the steep learning curve to which she was subjected proved to be just too big a hurdle.
With Spirit’s agreement, we have reluctantly been forced to recognize that there will be no August or September issues of the emagazine.
However, we are quite confident that we will be back on deck with a October issue, so please keep the material coming.

Introducing Joan D Jensen & Chris Nightingale
Dr Joan D Jensen
All my life I have said ‘I was born lucky,’ but I did not realize that it was my unconscious link to Spirit that created that luck. My conscious awakening to Spirit began over 30 years ago when I began searching but I did not then know what it was I was seeking.
Having been a teacher and an academic all my life – I had taught all levels of education from Kindergarten to tertiary and in all Australian States but two – I found it challenging to accept that what I was looking for was beyond the physical.
I began travelling to attend seminars and workshops, to listen to visiting speakers and to join meditation, healing and development classes. I bought hundreds of books, and serendipitously began meeting people who assisted me on my search and journey. I had dozens of experiences that convinced me of the spiritual realm. After acknowledging this I found my spiritual education expanded rapidly.
When I moved to Canberra (the capital of Australia) I was fortunate enough to be asked to join a closed circle with four other people. For the next 17 years we met once a week to work with Spirit on the cosmic and planetary planes. Concurrently, after my retirement I achieved a life-long dream of completing my doctorate for which I researched small and medium business enterprises’ use of the internet.
Although the physical group eventually dispersed through family moves and physical death, two of us ended up living within a 2 hour journey of each other – I in Ipswich, Queensland, and Chris on the Gold Coast. Whenever we meet and sit in meditation, the spirits of the other members of the group and our numerous spiritual friends and guides join us so that the work we had begun in Canberra as the One Mind has continued.
The creation of this emagazine – Spirit Calling Online – has resulted from a request from Spirit so that the Light of God within can be encouraged and spread throughout the world. Because of the deep love we share with Spirit and our love of mankind we are honoured to accept this task.

As a child spirit presences came naturally to me, they were just there. I played with them and talked to them, I was never alone and I never realised I was different from anyone else, it was all just a part or who I was.
When I was in my twenties my father was diagnosed with cancer and some of the experiences I had with him while he was ill and dying made me seriously search out spirit. I joined a circle and from there realised how much I loved learning from and working with spirit. I was able to sense spirits’ presence, then sometimes I would open my mouth and the right words would just tumble out. What I said was usually appropriate to the situation. I was receiving automatic writings and exploring healing; spirit was always so willing to work with me. I just love that spirit connection.
Meditation has played a major part in my development and I was fortunate in that I was invited to be a member of a newly formed circle. There were five members meeting on a regular basis over seventeen years. We came together as equals and we shared a great bond of friendship, love and harmony. During our time together we were taught many things by spirit; we were tutored on The Laws in Creation and how to recognise truth. We were encouraged to become the principles we were learning. Our teaching came via meditation and channelling and we were oh so close. Each week we would each contribute a part of the lesson and we were all working on a similar wave length. Spirit chose to call us The One Mind.
Over the years we have worked on many projects directed by Spirit for our own development which in turn lifts the vibration of the earth and mankind.
Both Joan and I ended up in Queensland and have continued to follow the promptings of Spirit to produce and publish Spirit Calling Online. It is time to spread the word and who knows to what and to where it will take us.

Guidelines for Contributors
It is always interesting to hear stories from other people about their experiences with spirit; how they became aware of their individual gifts and where it has taken them.
There is a lot of interest in all the different ypes of therapies available and the many different techniques used through which spirit can express themselves, and the results are often amazing.
Then there are the artists inspired by spirit affecting each differently.
How many different types of readers are there – Tarot, astrology, palm, spiritual, the list goes on.
What about your story? Why not share it with us all?

- Type documents in Microsoft Word or some compatible program such as Text Pad or Word Pad.
- When sending in any material for our consideration to be published please adhere to these simple guidelines:
- If sending in any images please save them as Jpeg or TIF files.
- If you send in any audios, please save them as mpg files, not Wave files (as these take up too much space).
- The number of words is not an issue, but better to write two short stories than one very lengthy one. Shorter stories are easier for readers to read.
- Include your contact details – name, phone, email address, and website. with a very brief description of your website for publication. If you do not wish these to be included, please let us know, but send them to us for our information and use.
We reserve the right to refuse any material which we deem unsuitable for our publication.
We reserve the right to edit it if and where necessary. Major changes will not be made without your agreement.
